Advice in the event of a fire or emergency

In case of emergency on the MRT Yellow Line

  • Notify the Operation Control Center conductor of any emergency situations immediately by pressing the yellow bell button located to the side of the doorways. Release the button to listen for a response from the Operation Control Center train.
  • Notify the Operation Control Center train conductor of any emergency situations immediately by pressing the yellow bell button located to the side of the doorways. Release the button to listen for a response from the Operation Control Center train conductor. If there is an emergency need to open the train doors, pull the red lever to the side of the doors and pull them apart. Only do this if the train is stopped at a station. Follow all instructions and guidance given by the train conductor.

  • Evacuation doors are located at the front and end of the train. Passengers may exit the train using provided walkway. Follow all instructions and guidance given by the train conductor.
  • If there is an emergency need to open train windows, follow posted instructions.
  • In case of fire, passengers may access a fire extinguisher located at the red fire extinguisher symbol. Follow all instructions posted to the extinguisher.
